What’s the difference between getting whitelisted and getting verified?

Whitelisted collections are denoted by a single checkmark. This checkmark represent that a collection has passed some basic checks by our support team: Originality of artwork used & proof of identity (KYC).

A Verified collection will display 2 checkmarks. Verified collections have met additional requirements in order to have this status.

In both cases, using these checkmarks as a guide can help you avoid participating with an imposter or scam collection. We hold these collections (Whitelisted and Verified) to an elevated standard and reserve the right to remove this status at any time. However, these checkmarks are not a replacement to researching projects on your own.
